Bayda, Libya
Tunis Miftah is a Libyan singer born in the city of Bayda, and one of the most prominent female voices in Libyan song. She began singing as a child, and her career spanned more than three decades, moving from children's songs to romantic, folk and patriotic material. She worked with poets and composers including the late Fadl al-Mabrouk and Suleiman al-Tarhouni. Her best known songs include Ma Tgheeb Anni, Marasilak, Nisitak Ya al-Baeed, Al-Salsabil, Kan al-Mahabba Aib and Dana Biladi. She later retired from performing, citing family commitments as the reason for her absence.
تونس مفتاح مطربة ليبية من مواليد مدينة البيضاء، وتُعد من أبرز الأصوات النسائية في الأغنية الليبية. بدأت الغناء وهي طفلة، وامتدت مسيرتها الفنية أكثر من ثلاثة عقود قدمت خلالها أغاني الأطفال ثم الأغاني العاطفية والشعبية والوطنية. تعاونت مع شعراء وملحنين من بينهم الشاعر الراحل فضل المبروك وسليمان الترهوني. ومن أشهر أعمالها ما تغيب عني، ومراسيلك، ونسيتك يالبعيد، والسلسبيل، وكان المحبة عيب، وضنا بلادي. اعتزلت العمل الفني لاحقًا وأرجعت غيابها إلى الالتزامات الأسرية.
