Omran Awedat

Omran Awedat is a Libyan lyricist who wrote the words for several Libyan patriotic and romantic songs performed by artists such as Ashraf Mahfouz Shawqi, Seif Elnasr and Abdullah al-Qadhafi. He is known in Libyan cultural circles as "the poet of the homeland" and has appeared in a documented interview with the League of Libyan Journalists Abroad.

عمران عويدات شاعر غنائي ليبي، كتب كلمات لعدد من الأغاني الليبية الوطنية والعاطفية أداها فنانون مثل أشرف محفوظ شوقي وسيف النصر وعبدالله القذافي. يُعرف في الأوساط الثقافية الليبية بلقب "شاعر الوطن"، وله ظهور موثق في لقاء مع رابطة الإعلاميين الليبيين بالخارج.
