Jali Abduljawad

Jali Abduljawad was a Libyan artist active as a song lyricist and in theatre. He wrote the lyrics of "Ya Shoug Khabar", composed by Hamad Al-Mugheirbi and performed by Youssef Igseem. The Libyan singer Ashraf Mahfouz had unrealised song projects with him, among them "Bakeeti Sidk", "Mush Bi-Ideena" and "Al-Hallama". He was honoured posthumously as one of the pioneers of theatre at the Benghazi artists' celebration of World Theatre Day in 2015.

الجالي عبد الجواد فنان ليبي عمل في الشعر الغنائي وفي المسرح، ومن كلماته أغنية «ياشوق خبر» من ألحان حمد المغيربي وأداء يوسف إقسيم. كانت للمطرب الليبي أشرف محفوظ مشاريع غنائية معه شملت «بكيتي سدك» و«موش بيدينا» و«الحلامة» لم تكتمل قبل وفاة أشرف. كُرّم بعد وفاته ضمن رواد الفن المسرحي في احتفال فناني بنغازي باليوم العالمي للمسرح عام 2015.
