عثمان نجيم

عثمان محمود نجيم فنان وملحن وعازف عود ليبي، ولد سنة 1911 بزنقة المجروح في المدينة القديمة بطرابلس وتوفي سنة 1990. تعلم الموسيقى في مدرسة الفنون والصنائع وأخذ العزف على العود عن الفنان محمد قنيوة، وكان عضوا في أول فرقة موسيقية إذاعية سنة 1935 ثم انضم إلى الفرقة الطرابلسية بقيادة بشير فحيمة سنة 1938، وعرف كمطرب وملحن منذ سنة 1940. تتلمذ على يديه كاظم نديم ومحمد مرشان، وظل عازفا على العود في فرقة الإذاعة حتى منتصف السبعينيات. من أعماله لحن أغنية بالوفاء يا ريدي التي أداها عبداللطيف حويل، وكلمات أغنية حباب الوجوه من ألحان كاظم نديم وغناء محمود الشريف.

Othman Mahmoud Njaim was a Libyan musician, composer and oud player, born in 1911 in the Zanqat al-Majrouh quarter of the old city of Tripoli and died in 1990. He studied music at the School of Arts and Crafts and learned the oud from Mohamed Qaniwa, was a member of the first Libyan radio orchestra in 1935, then joined Bashir Fahima's Tripolitan ensemble in 1938, and was known as a singer and composer from 1940. Kazem Nadim and Mohamed Mirshan studied under him, and he remained an oud player in the radio orchestra until the mid 1970s. His works include the melody of the song Bil-Wafa Ya Rido performed by Abdellatif Hwail, and the lyrics of Hbab al-Wujuh, composed by Kazem Nadim and sung by Mahmoud al-Sharif.
