جلال أحمد

جلال أحمد مطرب وممثل ومخرج تلفزيوني ليبي من جيل الستينيات، وعمله الرئيسي الإخراج في الإذاعة المرئية. أعماله الغنائية قليلة قياسًا بمسيرة فنية قاربت خمسة وثلاثين عامًا، وقد توقف عن الغناء والتمثيل لفترة طويلة واستمر في الإخراج. من أشهر أغنياته يا عيني على المحبة من كلمات الشاعر الليبي يوسف بن صريتي وألحان الملحن المصري السيد مكاوي، الذي تعرف عليه أثناء نقل حفل في بنغازي وعرض عليه التلحين دون مقابل. كما سجل أغاني منها وثيقة حب من كلماته، ويوم التصعيد من كلمات علي أبو السعيد، وعاد إلى الغناء لاحقًا بعمل من ألحان ابنه وائل جلال أحمد.

Jalal Ahmed is a Libyan singer, actor and television director of the 1960s generation, whose main occupation has been directing at Libyan television. His recorded output is small relative to a career of roughly thirty-five years, and he stopped singing and acting for a long stretch while continuing to direct. His best known song is Ya Aini Ala al-Mahabba, with lyrics by the Libyan poet Youssef Ben Sriti and music by the Egyptian composer Sayed Makkawi, whom he met while directing the broadcast of a concert in Benghazi and who offered to compose for him without payment. He also recorded Wathiqat Hubb to his own lyrics and Yawm al-Tasid to lyrics by Ali Abu al-Saeed, and later returned to singing with a piece composed by his son Wael Jalal Ahmed.
