الفنان الليبي علي القبرون تعلم الموسيقى في مدرسة الفنون والصنائع التي أشرف عليها رمضان الأسود عام 1955، وتتلمذ على يد الموسيقار كاظم نديم. غنى منذ عام 1958 وشارك في برنامج (ركن الهواء) بإذاعة طرابلس بين عامي 1962 و1964، وتأثر بأسلوب الموسيقار فريد الأطرش. اجتاز لجنة إجازة الغناء وقدم أغاني منها (معرض بلادي) و(روحين في جسم واحد)، وانضم لاحقاً إلى فرقة الشروق للمألوف والموشحات عام 1988. توفي في 14 مارس 2013 بأحد مستشفيات تونس ودفن في ليبيا.
Libyan artist Ali Qabroun learned music at the School of Arts and Crafts supervised by Ramadan al-Aswad in 1955, and studied under musician Kazem Nadim. He began singing in 1958 and appeared on the radio program 'Rukn al-Hawa' on Tripoli Radio between 1962 and 1964, influenced by the style of Farid al-Atrash. He passed the official singers' licensing committee and performed songs including 'Ma'rid Biladi' and 'Ruhein fi Jism Wahid', and later joined the Al-Shuruq troupe for Malouf and Muwashahat music in 1988. He died on 14 March 2013 in a hospital in Tunisia and was buried in Libya.
