عبد السيد الصابري

عبد السيد عبد الخالق الصابري مطرب وعازف عود وملحن ليبي وُلد في بنغازي سنة 1924 لإحدى عائلاتها العريقة، وأصبح في الخمسينيات والستينيات أحد كبار الفنانين الليبيين. سافر إلى مصر سنة 1941 وظل بها حتى 1943 لدراسة العزف على العود، ثم واصل دراسته في إيطاليا، وكان من الرواد الذين التحقوا بالإذاعة الليبية مبكرًا حين كانت إذاعة بنغازي في منطقة رأس عبيدة. من أعماله المعروفة أغنية «سافر مازال عيني تريده» من كلمات الشاعر عبد الحميد الشاعري التي غناها سنة 1957، وأغنية «زعم كيف حالك يا بعيد دياره» من نظم الشاعر يوسف مصطفى الفيلالي سنة 1954. عمل سنة 1966 موظفًا بالسفارة الليبية في روما وسجّل هناك عدة أغانٍ في القسم العربي بإذاعة روما، كما خاض تجربة سينمائية ومثّل في تسعة أفلام، ورحل في 22 يونيو 1997.

Abdulsayed Abdulkhaliq Sabri was a Libyan singer, oud player and composer born in Benghazi in 1924 into one of the city's old families, and by the 1950s and 1960s he was among Libya's leading artists. He travelled to Egypt in 1941 and stayed until 1943 to study the oud, then continued his studies in Italy, and he was one of the early figures to join Libyan radio when the Benghazi station was located in the Ras Obeida district. His best known recordings include "Safar Mazal Aini Turiduh", written by the poet Abdulhamid al-Shaeri and sung in 1957, and "Zaam Kayf Halak Ya Baeed Diyaruh", written by the poet Yusuf Mustafa al-Filali in 1954. In 1966 he took a post at the Libyan embassy in Rome, recorded several songs for the Arabic section of Rome radio, and also acted in nine films. He died on 22 June 1997.
